Hello from Cornell Club of Sarasota-Manatee (CCSM)!

We celebrate our 67th anniversary this year, after our founding in 1957.  We have a very engaged membership here in the Sarasota-Manatee area consisting of alumni, current students and families, and friends of Cornell.  Our ranks keep growing as do the number of students applying to and attending Cornell from our area.  My passion for Cornell comes from my time 'on the hill' working on three degrees and from teaching at Cornell for over 30 years, something I bring to CCSM with pleasure. 

Our club runs Culinary or Cultural events every month, and our  members all enjoy being together while showing our Cornell spirit in sunny Florida.  Our club supports students attending Cornell from Sarasota and Manatee Counties via a scholarship program.
