Get InvolvedOne of the great strengths of Cornell Club of Sarasota-Manatee is our many volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors and on our Committees. Year after year, many of you step up to lead, facilitate, and organize our club in a variety of ways. New to the area? Newly graduated or retired? Been here for a while and looking to to make a difference, meet people, and have some fun. Here’s an opportunity to work with a great group of local Cornellians. Cornell Club of Sarasota-Manatee is looking for volunteers to join the following teams: Communications - Work with Shalaine M ’95, and help to manage our website and our email communications. CAAAN - Work with Elsa D ‘86 and contact our prospective incoming CU freshmen, either over Zoom, FaceTime, telephone or in-person. This role is best for people who graduated in 1985 and forward. Luncheons (Culinary) - Work with Katrina W ‘97, come up with ideas for speakers and get to meet them, sit with them at lunch and introduce them. Help coordinate our drop-in events. Special Events (Cultural) - Work with Penny D MS ‘84, discover new activities/field trips to do in Sarasota-Manatee and coordinate an event for the club. Photography - Take photos at our events, create a photo archive With the objective of maintaining the vibrant operation of the club, we are asking members interested in serving to contact the CCSM Nominating Committee. You’ll find your involvement both rewarding and greatly appreciated. If interested, please email me at ccsm.nominations@gmail.com. Thank you, Jim G '76 Chairman Get connected without being on the board:
