  • Visit a whole new venue for Mote Marine. This park is not open to the public so this is a rare opportunity to visit the tope research faculty into sustainable aquaculture

Behind the Scenes at Mote Aquaculture Research Park

Wow, did you know there is another whole side of Mote to learn about?!  The Mote Aquaculture Park (MAP) was constructed in 2001 to pioneer the development of sustainable aquaculture technology to help feed the world!  Also to restock depleted species and address the need to develop a viable domestic aquaculture industry in the US.

This is an exclusive tour just for our Cornell Club! You will see the Coral Gene bank, the Crab hatchery, Red Tide research initiative and so much more.  Put on your walking shoes and let's go!

This event is following our March 12th (Wednesday) luncheon with guest speaker Dr. Michael Crosby, President of Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.

We will head out to lunch following the tour.  TBD

CCSM Members will get an email invite when registrations open on Friday, February 21st. There are only 24 spots available for members + their guests. 
This will probably sell out quick!

Registrations close and are non refundable after Saturday, March 29th.
