On Thursday March 14th, #GivingDay2024, please consider giving to the Sarasota-Manatee Cornell Club Scholarship Fund, an endowed fund used to supplement financial aid provided by Cornell for students from Sarasota and Manatee counties who need assistance.
Sixteen students from the local area currently attend Cornell, two graduate students and 14 undergraduates. They are an impressive group with a wide array of interests and academic pursuits. Last year, due to the generous support of local alumni such as yourself, six local students were able to receive scholarships totaling $19,261.
Local students need our help. It costs over $88,000 for out-of-state students to attend Cornell in 2023-2024. The median household income in Sarasota and Manatee counties is $69,490 and $64,964 respectively. Our scholarship fund really does make a difference whether some students can afford to attend Cornell.
